Best know for being a Victoria's Secret model, Miranda Kerr has got any girls dream life! Hot hubby (Orlando Bloom), being a VS angel and having an amazing style, both on the red carpet and on the street. But I think it is her day-to-day style that needs more recognition; mixing casual basics with leather, and hot red accessories (I'm personally eyeing up her burgundy Celine tote). Adding either a tailored blazer or printed jacket keeps her looking sophisticated-chic, with pumps or black boots to add an element of grunge.

Zara Spring Collection
BouclĂ© knit cardigan - £79.99; Double fabric blazer - £49.99
Fantasy pleated skirt - £29.99; Floral crepe blouse - £29.99
Floral print dress - £49.99; Wide pleated studio trousers - £49.99
Zara has always been my go to for class and sophistication, as it always has some amazing tailored pieces, cosy knits and a huge variety in trouser shapes; and it has recently stepped up its game even more! Zara now has an even bigger range of styles to suit everyone, from printed shirts to body-con dresses, plus all the basics. Therefore I have decided that if I was really rich, I could just buy an entire shop full of clothes all from Zara, and I would have everything I need.
And it's not only the clothes that are amazing, but also the shoes! As you can probably tell I am a huge fan of a good wedge, as they are prefect for the day with some tailored shorts and a shirt, or for the evening with a maxi dress. I'm not great in heels, so platforms are normally my go-to as they make me look taller, and I think are just more of an elegant shape. Then obviously some flats; these stunning two-tones sandals and the classic ballet pump - stylish and comfortable (and both great for summer!).
You'll find all of these products at zara.com

Printed Trouser Lust
I am dying to buy a pair of printed trousers, preferably tailored and ankle length. I think they are the perfect summer staple; if your brave you can wear them with a clashing print, or if like me, your not so brave, a simple white tee. Another thing I love about these trousers is that they come in a full range of prints, shapes and materials suited for all weathers. I'v got my eye on the Whistles pair below (if I win the lottery), or for a cheaper option the ASOS paisley print number!
(From left) River Island - £30, Whistles - £125, ASOS - £40, Mary Katrantzou at Topshop - £130

Elizabeth and James FW 2012
(Images taken from http://modaoperandi.com/)
It's safe to say the Olsen sisters have an eye for style, and their collection for this seasons Elizabeth and James is stunning; I'd wear every single look. I would describe the collection as a modern heritage, mixing quilted leather with sharp tailoring and softer fabrics. The colours make the perfect palette for fall, but I'd wear them any time of the year! Now I just need to save a couple of thousand pounds . .

Shorts - $18.00 from Tobi.com
I am in love with these shorts, and I think they have been styled perfectly for the look. The delicate lacing and aztec print are the perfect mix for summer, especially when teamed with a neon racer-back vest. This style short was huge last summer and I wasn't able to get my hands on a pair, but I am all for re-living this trend!

Burgundy
Burgundy is my new favourite colour. I recently bought a dress from New Look in this colour, and it was such a good find: it's in a chiffon material, with a detailed open back and long sleeves. I would wear burgundy with colours such as khaki, black, navy and grey, by just adding in a small detail like a bag or some leather shorts (looks amazing when tanned!). And if you can pull off a burgundy lip, go for it!

Winchester Fashion Week

This is the second year WFW has run, and I am lucky enough to be apart of it this year. I am in both the events and journalist team, meaning I have to help plan events from frock swaps to catwalks, and write articles for the up and coming magazine.
I am also a contributor to WFW's new blog http://winchesterfashionweek.wordpress.com/, and my first post is up on the site, so check it out!

LRD's (from left) - £ 22.50 and £26.00, both from ASOS
I have been lusting over these two LRD's from ASOS for so long now. They are both the perfect shape that I want, a simple tee with a flared skirt; and I am loving this colour at the moment - its bold, yet that simple shape makes it so it is not too OTT. Now I need to make the decision about which one I want . .
